Insurance Loss Inspections

Insurance Loss Inspection services are performed by all qualified members of our field staff and receive special handling and processing by office staff specilizing in the processing of insurance loss inspections.

We understand that in most cases these inspections are being ordered on current loans and our office staff gives priority to insurance loss inspections and they are scheduled with the highest priority we offer.

Through the use of our experienced office staff and experienced field personnel Digital Field Services helps insure that funds for repair of damaged properties are timely and properly disbursed and that the repairs have indeed been completed.

Insurance Loss Inspection Objectives

When performing Insurance Loss Inspections, Digital Field Services will, upon client instruction, send an inspector to theproperty to review and assess both the existing damages at a property and the percentage of repairs completed.

Insurance Loss Inspection Timeline

Upon receipt of an Insurance Loss Inspection request and the "scope of work", Digital Field Services office staff will call within 24 hours (excluding Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) to set an appointment for the next available qualified field rep.

The client is then notified of the inspection appointment date and time.

The inspector will meet the occupant, and in some cases the contractor performing the repairs, to assess and inspect the damages, repairs completed, and to report on any additional repairs still needing to be performed. The inspector will inquire of the occupant's satisfaction with repairs completed to date and, if the occupant is satisfied, will request that the occupant sign our Insurance Loss Inspection field form as verification of satisfaction of the repairs.

All information, including the estimated percentage of repairs completed, the mortgagor's stated level of satisfaction with the repairs, applicable inspection forms, and any additional pertinent information, is provided to the client normally within twelve hours of the field forms being returned to our office staff.
